What domain name should I choose?

Ideally your domain name should be easy to remember, easy to spell and where possible provide an indication of your website content. For example, www.irishtimes.com is an example of a good website name as it fulfils these criteria – the Irish Times brand is very widely known and therefore browsers to this site will expect to read news articles . Another example of a well chosen domain name would be www.homeopathyindublin.com - the name itself is very informative as it is clearly related to the subject of homeopathy and also indicates that the business is Dublin based. What is website hosting?

Every website will require ‘hosting space’. Essentially you have to rent space online so that your website files can be held in a physical location. Once you have acquired hosting space your website can then be viewed online anywhere in the world.

Do I need to purchase hosting space myself?

No. All of our website design packages include a free hosting space package during the first year.

Will I be able to update my website myself?

Yes. If you choose a CMS based website package then you will easily be able to update text, photos etc on your website from any computer. We will show you how to update your site.
